This guide applies to using Picture Keeper with USB-C model Android device:
Before getting started, make sure your phone or tablet is running the latest version of Android, and if you haven't already, download the PK Connect app from the Google Play Store and open it.
- Tap Agree and Continue:
- Tap Create Account if this is your first time using Picture Keeper, otherwise tap Sign In:
- Fill out the Create Account or Sign In screen, and then tap Create Account or Sign In:
- Tap to select the Picture Keeper product you're using:
- Tap Confirm Selection at the bottom:
- Next, the app will tell you it's time to "Connect your Picture Keeper now":

Connect your Picture Keeper to your phone according to the model you're using, as demonstrated below:
- Tap Open Drive Picker at the bottom:
- Tap the More button in the top right corner:
- If you see Show Internal Storage or Show Hidden Files, tap this option, otherwise continue to step 11:
- Tap the Menu button in the top left corner:
- Tap PKBACKUP on the left:
- Tap ALLOW ACCESS TO "PKBACKUP" or USE THIS FOLDER at the bottom:
- Tap Allow on the prompt:
- You should see "Access granted!" appear momentarily at the bottom:
- Tap Start Backup once you're on the Home screen:
- If you have a Google Photos account, you should connect it now. Otherwise, you can tap Not now to skip this step:
- Tap Allow so Picture Keeper can access and save your photos, media, and files, then sit back and enjoy the show!
