How to Backup Your Google Photos

Follow the steps below for help backing up your Google Photos within the Picture Keeper Connect app on Android:

1. Tap Show Backup Options on the Home screen:
   
   
   
2. Tap Connect to Google Photos at the bottom:
   
   
   
3. Tap Connect to Google Photos again:
   
   
   
4. Select the correct Google account from the list:
   
   
   
5. Tap Proceed at the bottom:
   
   
   
6. Tap to select up to 2000 items at a time that you'd like to back up:
   
   
   
7. Tap Done at the top right when you're ready to continue:
   
   
   
8. Tap the X at the top left to return to the Picture Keeper app:
   
   
   
9. Your backup should start:
   
   
   
10. Once your backup has finished, you can tap Go Home to return to the Home screen, or View Files on Drive to see the files you've backed up:
    
    
    
11. If you tapped View Files on Drive, you can tap Explore Drive to find the items you backed up:
    
    
    
12. Open your phone's folder, and then navigate to the 'Google Photos' folder(s) within (there should be one for each year the items came from):
