There are several ways to unmount or eject your Picture Keeper from an Android device.
There are several ways in which you can unmount or eject your Picture Keeper so it can be safely disconnected from your Android device. The most common method is listed first, but you can use the links here to jump to alternate methods:

EJECT PICTURE KEEPER FROM NOTIFICATIONS ON SAMSUNG PHONE
This is the most common method for ejecting your Picture Keeper from your Samsung phone:
- Swipe down from the top of your screen to show your Notifications:
- Find "USB storage added" or "USB drive" listed here:
- Tap the down arrow v to find the more options:
- Tap the Unmount option:
- Wait for your Picture Keeper to eject before disconnecting:
EJECT PICTURE KEEPER FROM MY FILES APP ON SAMSUNG PHONE
If you are unable to find 'USB storage added' or 'USB drive' listed in your Notifications, you can also eject Picture Keeper from within the My Files app on your phone:
- Swipe up from the bottom of your screen to open the App Drawer:
- Type "My Files" into the search field:
- Tap the app icon at the top to open:
- Look for 'USB storage 1' under 'Storage' and tap the more
button to the right:
- Tap Unmount:
- Wait for your Picture Keeper to unmount before disconnecting:
EJECT PICTURE KEEPER FROM SETTINGS ON SAMSUNG PHONE
If for any reason you can't find 'USB storage added' or 'USB drive' in your Notifications, or in the 'My Files' app, you may be running an older version of Android. In this case, you can eject Picture Keeper from within the Settings app on your phone:
- Open the Settings app:
- Scroll down and tap Device care or Device maintenance:
- Tap Storage:
- Tap Advanced:
Or tap the morebutton and then Storage settings:
- Tap the eject
button next to 'PKBACKUP':
- Wait for your Picture Keeper to unmount before disconnecting:
