Picture Keeper automatically backs up files from your iCloud account on iPhone and iPad, as this is the most common cloud service on iOS devices. However, if you have pictures saved with Google Photos, you may also want to back these up to your Picture Keeper. This process actually starts from within the Google Photos app, and you can follow the steps below for help:
- Open the Google Photos app
- Navigate to the photos and/or videos you plan to back up to Picture Keeper, and then tap the more
button at the top right:
- Tap the Select option:
- Tap to select up to 50 photos (or up to 5 videos) at a time that you'd like to back up:
- Tap the share
button at the top:
- Tap the PK Connect
app (if you don't see it, you may need to swipe left to find it):
- Wait for your files to prepare:
- Once the files are done preparing, the PK Connect app should open automatically and show you how many files it found. Just tap Start Backup on the prompt:
- Wait for the backup to complete, and then repeat the process if you have more files to back up from Google Photos:
