Are you having issues related to backing up files stored in your OneDrive? If so, the "Files On-Demand" OneDrive setting may be to blame. To disable this setting, please follow these steps:
How to turn off “Files On-Demand”
- Open OneDrive settings (select the OneDrive cloud icon in your notification area, and then select the OneDrive Help and Settings icon then Settings.)
- Go to the Sync and backup tab and expand the Advanced settings.
- Under Files On-Demand, select Download all files. The files will take up space on your PC, so make sure it has enough room for all of them.
- Wait until all the files are downloaded to your PC, and then run the backup again.
I hope this helps! For further help with Microsoft OneDrive, you can find Microsoft's support article for how to download files from OneDrive here, or you can contact Microsoft support.
