*Before proceeding, make sure to have a second copy of your files stored in a second location, as this will permanently delete these files from your iOS device, and most likely from your iCloud account. Consider copying the files on your Picture Keeper to a computer first (check here for Windows instructions, or here for Mac instructions).*
When you're ready, follow the steps below for help removing any files from your iPhone or iPad that have already been backed up to Picture Keeper:
- Tap Settings
at the bottom right:
- Tap Advanced Options at the bottom:
- Tap Remove Files from iPhone at the bottom:
- Tap Continue on the prompt:
- Lastly, if your goal is to free up storage on your iPhone/iPad, you will need to clear your Recently Deleted album in order to complete the deletion of these files. For help with this, see the 'Delete photos permanently' section at the bottom of this Apple support article.
