Picture Keeper can sometimes run into an issue while trying to back up the files you have stored in iCloud. In these cases, it can often help to re-sync these files to your iPhone before attempting another backup. This guide will show you how to re-sync your iCloud Photos. First, make sure you're on the latest available version of iOS, then follow the steps below:
- Open the Settings app
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap iCloud
- Tap Photos
- Turn the switch next to Sync this iPhone off
- When prompted, tap Remove from iPhone twice (don't worry, this will only remove photos from your iPhone that are stored in your iCloud account -- we'll sync them back later!)
- Your screen will briefly say "Turning off"
- Wait ~30 minutes for iCloud to fully remove all of your synced photos from your iPhone
- Turn the switch next to Sync this iPhone on
- Your screen will say "Turning on" (this could take longer than "Turning off")
- Wait ~30 minutes for iCloud to fully sync your photos back to your iPhone
- Return to the PK Connect app, and tap Resume Backup
