This guide will show you how to reset your Picture Keeper. A reset will erase files from your Picture Keeper, the backup records from the app, or both. First, connect your Picture Keeper to your Android device, then follow the steps below:
- Open the PK Connect app
- Tap Settings at the bottom right
- Tap Advanced Options at the bottom
- Tap Reset Drive toward the bottom
- Choose the reset option you'd like to proceed with:
- Erase All Files and Backup Records will erase all the files on your Picture Keeper that were backed up from this Android device, as well as all the backup records from the app
- Erase All Files will erase all the files on your Picture Keeper that were backed up from this Android device
- Erase All Backup Records will erase all the backup records from the app
- Factory Reset will erase all the files on your Picture Keeper that were backed up from ANY device, as well as all the backup records from the app
- The backup records, which are contained within the app on your phone, and are what allows your Picture Keeper to resume the backup where it last left off, skipping files that were previously backed up to any Picture Keeper drive
- Tap Continue on the prompt, which will elaborate on what the reset you've selected does
- Enter your name in the prompt, and then tap Continue to proceed
