You can remove duplicate files from your Picture Keeper using the computer app. Just follow the steps below to find the files that are saved more than once on your drive and remove the extra copies:
- Connect the Picture Keeper to your computer and open the app.
- Click the gear
icon in the top right corner:
- Click Find Duplicates on Drive:
- The app checks your drive for files that are saved more than once. You can wait for it to finish, or click Show Results So Far to start reviewing while it works:
- Each group is one file that is on your drive more than once. One copy stays, marked Keep, and the others are set to Remove. Click a different copy to keep that one instead, or use Keep oldest or Keep newest to set every group at once. When you are happy with the selection, click Remove at the bottom:
- The app confirms how many files it removed and how much space that freed. Click Done to finish:
