This guide will show you how to connect your Google Photos account from within the Picture Keeper app on Windows. First, connect your Picture Keeper to your PC, then follow the steps below:
- Open the Picture Keeper app
- Click Search Options on the left side of the Home screen:
- Scroll down on the left side of the "Where to Search" section and click Google Photos:
- Click the Connect to Google Photos button on the right:
- This will take you to a Google webpage -- select the correct Google account from the list:
- If prompted, enter your Google password and click Next -- if not, skip to step 9:
- After you click Next, you may see a prompt to open a Google app on another device to confirm it's actually you attempting to sign in -- if not, skip to step 9:
- Follow the instructions to open the Google app on your other device, tap Yes, it's me to proceed with signing in, and you should then see your computer screen change in your web browser:
- Click Continue:
- Check the box next to "View your Google Photos library" and then click Continue at the bottom:
- If prompted to open the Picture Keeper app, do so to return to the app and finish the process.
- Select Default Settings to back up your entire Google Photos library, or select Advanced Settings to choose specific files or albums to include in your backup, and then click Save:
- The Search Options screen should now show that you're signed in to your Google Photos account -- just click Save Settings:
