This guide will show you how to reformat your Picture Keeper from your PC. We have an automated utility called Repair Tool which makes this process quick and easy. A reformat will completely erase your Picture Keeper, and can be used to correct software issues that a normal reset was unable to resolve. First, connect your Picture Keeper to your Windows computer, but do not open the Picture Keeper app. Then follow the steps below:
- Click this link to download the Repair Tool
- Find the "RepairTool" file in your Downloads folder, and double click to open the Repair Tool
-
Click the gear icon in the top right corner
-
Click Reformat Drive (Support Only) in the dropdown menu
-
Click Find Drive
-
Click Start Repair
-
Make sure exFAT is the option selected, and then click OK at the bottom
- The Repair Tool will let you know when the reformat is complete. Keep in mind that reformatting will erase any files currently stored on your Picture Keeper.
