How to Reset Picture Keeper

This guide will show you how to reset your Picture Keeper. A reset will erase files from your Picture Keeper, so be sure you have another copy safely stored in another location before proceeding. When you're ready, connect your Picture Keeper to your PC, then follow the steps below:

1. Open the LaunchPictureKeeper app
2. Click the gear icon in the top right corner:
   
   
   
3. Click Reset Picture Keeper in the drop-down menu:
   
   
   
4. Type your name into the box:
   
   
   
5. If this is the only Picture Keeper you've backed up files to, continue to step 6. Otherwise, if you've previously backed up files to any other Picture Keeper drives, and this drive was used to continue the backup, check the box:
   
   
   
6. Click OK to proceed with the reset:
