This guide applies to using Picture Keeper with Lightning model iOS devices:
- iPhone 14 or earlier
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (2nd generation or earlier)
- iPad Air (3rd generation or earlier)
- iPad mini (5th generation or earlier)
- iPad (9th generation or earlier)

Before getting started, make sure iOS is up to date on your iPad, and if you haven't already, download the PK Connect app from the App Store and open it.
- Tap Create Account if this is your first time using Picture Keeper, otherwise tap Sign In:
- Fill out the Create Account or Sign In screen, and then tap Create Account or Sign In:
- When prompted, select Picture Keeper Connect and then tap Confirm Selection:
- Next, the app will tell you it's time to "Connect your Picture Keeper now":
- Connect your Picture Keeper to your iPhone according to the model you're using, as demonstrated below:
- Wait momentarily while the app is "Detecting drive...":
- Tap Start Backup on the Home screen:
- Tap Allow Full Access so Picture Keeper can save your entire photo library:
- Tap Continue and then Allow Full Access so Picture Keeper can save your entire contacts list, then sit back and enjoy the show!
